My sister, Sara, and her family live on some beautiful land in Oklahoma. It is actually a Christian campground where by BIL, Beau, is the camp director. We love going to spend time there and don't go nearly enough. There is just something fantastic and peaceful and simple about being in the country. Claire barely watched TV, she and Asher played outside and got good and dirty while they searched for bugs and played chase for hours on end.
We decided to head out on a little hike around the camp on Sunday morning before we headed home. It was stinkin' hot, but fun. I was thankful that Beau agreed to stay home with Jacob.
Asher and Claire were very excited to be heading out. They ran quite a bit in the beginning and then got a little too tired and needed to be carried a bit at the end.

Claire found a walking stick on our way back from the lake. She also cracked me up wearing about 15 lanyards around her neck all day.

We were about to head up the hill and decided to take a little family picture (minus Jake the Snake who was sawing logs back at the house) first.
