A few days ago we had a pair of wild ducks waddle into our yard. This is odd because we are not all that close to any water. We found out that they have come the last couple of Springs to nest in our neighbors bushes. Claire was so happy to feed them for a while, we slowly gained their trust and they got kind of close to us. It was such a fun little treat on a beautiful afternoon in our front yard.

How great that Claire gets to experience nature in a whole new way... right in her very own front yard. Bet you both loved it, didn't you? Just something about getting up close to animals 'in the wild'...so to speak.
