Exhausting Fun

I think that the best way to sum up the last few days is stated in the title. We have really enjoyed having family in town, Claire especially loved having so much time with her cousins. We successfully hosted Claire's 2nd birthday party even though the world seemed to be against us that day and my sister's baby shower was really nice. I need to devote an entire post just to the morning of the birthday party.

Until then, here are a few pictures of the last few days...

On Wednesday we hiked down to feed the horses with all of the girls. This was a special treat for the California girls. My niece Skyler and her daddy, Coby, were here too.

I had so much fun getting to know my niece Camille. I have not been around her very much and she is such a sweetheart! She and Claire have very different personalities, but they compliment each other and it was fun to watch their budding friendship.Claire applying lipstick to Camille. It was clear glitter, but they had fun playing with it!Allan and Claire watching Anna and Camille playing in the fountains. It took Claire a little bit to warm up to the idea this time around.Anna helped get her in the running and splashing mood. They had fun squealing and running through the water.Camille and Claire dancing on the stage at Barnes and Noble while Allan sang the "Butterfly Song" was so cute and funny.

One of Claire's big highlights was showing off her new swingset that she got for her birthday this year. She loves spending time out there in the mornings.
