Last Wednesday night Allan's dad (aka Papa) came in to town to spend the night before he and Allan headed out for a long weekend of golfing in South Carolina. We had a great dinner out and then he surprised us with some gifts. Claire loved having her Papa here to play chase with and climb on. It was nice to have him here for a night.
An early Mother's Day and Father's Day gift from Allan and Gig: our new diaper bag and an Ergo Baby Carrier which made me super happy!!! Claire also recieved a new doll which she carried around for the rest of the evening.

Ooooh Emily, so glad you received the Ergo. I've heard so many good things about it and want to sell my Bjorn and get one of those instead. We're opting to forgoe the infant carrier seat this time and we decided on a Britax Marathon so we don't have to buy 3 car seats in 3 years. So I knew I would need a good baby carrier like the Ergo for errands and church etc. I can't wait to hear how you like it.
How neat that Claire's Papa got to have some time with her before her little brother comes out. Nice gifts too. What's the big deal about Ergo? Guess I need to be updated on all the baby paraphanelia these days. :0)
Claire is so adorable! She reminds me a lot of my youngest girl. She loves dolls!!! She will be 6 on Tuesday and every year still asks for another baby doll!
